History of LPCI

"Built in 1936, Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute has been serving the Lawrence Park Community for 85 years. Home to over 1,400 current staff and students, the school has become well known for its strong focus on academics, athletics, and the arts.

Lawrence Park Collegiate is a non-semester school with strong French Extended and French Immersion streams and we constantly strive to embody our school motto "Amor Doctrinae Floreat" (Let the Love of Learning Flourish).

The music program boasts countless awards and medals at the City, Provincial and National level. There are over 50 athletic /clubs that compete at the highest level and proudly wear the Panther colours blue and gold. The drama program is also considered one of the best in the province and hosts annual performances including United Artists for a Cause and the Grade 12 One Act Festival."
